Barbara A. Owens Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara A. Owens (Mountain City, Tennessee), who passed away on February 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Beverly and Lillian J Beverly; and her children, Phyllis Ashley and Thomas Owens (Tommy). She is survived by: her son Robert Dale Owens (Brenda); her grandchildren, Joe Owens of Mountain City, Crystal Owens of Mountain City, Elena Owens (Chris Mahala) of Mountain City and Rodney Ashley (Erin) of Springfield, OH.; her great grandchildren, Chelsie Owens, Brianna Capps, Noah, Levi and Aiden Ashley; her great great grandchild Jeffrey Tester (JT); and her close friends, Norma, Terry Reid, Joy Boggs, Earl and Vickie Price. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Buford Lipford Chapel at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
