It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maudie Elaine Watson of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, who passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Matthew Beard and Maude Thurman Beard; and her husband James R. Watson. She is survived by: her close friend Jim Rich of Columbia; her children, Jeffery Ambrose (Delta) of Culleoka, TN, Sheila Smithson (David) of Spring Hill, TN, Sherry Pratt (James) of Culleoka, TN and Ina Joy Bevis of Lawrenceburg, TN; and her sister Charlotte Radar of Columbia, TN. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
