With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry York of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, who passed away on October 7, 2020 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerry York to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad York and Sarah Gregg York; his parents-in-law, Roland and Rachel Lindsey; his brother Leon York; and his nephew John Henry Lindsey.
He is survived by: his wife Linnie L. York; his children, Andrea Joy York and Jerry L. York Jr.; his siblings, Dorathy Kennedy (Ray) and Dwight York (Katie); his siblings-in-law, Eva York (Leon), Roland Fletcher "Dickie" Lindsey Jr. (Sara) and Mary Lou Holt (J. C.); his granddaughter Chloe Mae York; his close friends, Justin Hyatt (Possum) and Donna Burke; and also Charissa Kilburn (Lee).
Due to the ages of the matriarchs and patriarchs of our family, and the seriousness of COVID 19, we are asking if you plan to attend, that you please wear a mask. Due to COVID 19 concerns, the family regrets to inform family and friends there will be no gathering for a meal after the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Avalon Hospice of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, St. Jude's Hospital, or The Shriners' Hospital for Children.
