She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ollie and Lena Mae Dugger Finerty; her husband Bob Coats; her siblings, James Howard Finerty, Ricky Wayne Finerty and Nettie Finerty Gibson; her brother-in-law Danny Michael Chapman; her nephews, James Christopher Finerty and Timothy Eugene Finerty; her niece Barbara Lynn Gibson; her former husband Johnny Bearden Jr.; and her stepfather Eugene "Pete" Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Angie McGregor (Gene) of Centerville, TN, Sheila Coleman (Mike) of Cornerville, TN and Steve Bearden of Spring Hill; her grandchildren, Brittany Odom (Chad), Atha Collinsworth, Jade Taylor, Coty Bearden and James Coleman; her great grandchild Antwon Simmons; her siblings, Helen McMullin (Dorris) of Summertown, Darlene Chapman of Mt. Pleasant, Lynn Lovett (Mike) of Culleoka, Sandy Matthews of Columbia and Larry Finerty of Mt. Pleasant; her sisters-in-law, Gail Finerty and Debbie Alley; and her nephews, Antwon Simmons and Chad Odom. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
