He is survived by: his wife Martha Holland Marken; his children, Richard Marken (Kristi) of Bell Buckle, TN, Gene Marken (Sharlene) of Spring Hill, TN, Mike Marken (Michele) of San Diego, CA and Mary Marken of Mt. Pleasant, TN; his grandchildren, Shelby Borem (Josh), Richard Marken, II, Amanda Marken, Braden Marken, Kalea Marken and Cole Marken; his siblings, John Marken of Florida, Sherry Bowman of Michigan, Vickey Akers (Keith) of Culleoka, TN and Robin Hoover (Gary) of Michigan; and his brothers-in-law, Ben Holland (Vicki), Paul White and Roy Francis.
Richard's dedication extended to his community, by raising and donating chickens to the church for their annual Chicken Fry.
