With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel E. Jones of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, who passed away on March 28, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmie Jones, (Marvin) and James W. Jones, Sr.; his granddaughter Amanda Catharine Jones; and his brothers, Rev. Marvin Jones, James W. Jones Jr., Charles Jones and Rev. Joe Jones.

He is survived by: his daughters, Nellie and Ruth; his wife Betty Thames; his children, Robinel Bradshaw (Daniel), Cynthia Renee Dillon, Samuel D. Jones (Sabrina) and Rev. Edward W. Jones; his grandchildren, Daniel Bradshaw, Jr. (Leslie), Andrea Henry, Michal Smart (Trent), Hannah E. McCrery (Jason), Rachel A. Jones, Allison Farley (Jason), Summer Ateshkari (Pasha), Kevin Bradshaw (Makayla), Abigail McAdory (Chad) and Nathaniel Jones; his great grandchildren, Caiden Vanderpool, Jaelynn Farley, Carter Bradshaw, Gabby McCrery, Daniel Bradshaw, III, Eli McCrery, Cambrie Smart, Eva Jones and Harper McCrery; and his siblings, Sarah Smith and Robert "Bob" Jones.
