He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson and Oceile Stewart Colson; and his siblings, Thomas Jefferson Jr. Colson (Rose), Bernice Maurier (Frank), Francis Williams (Joe), Dr. Henry Bob Colson and Benny.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Ben, Brenda Bonner (Patrick), Cathy Del Rio (Luis) and Veronica Whitlow (Brooks); his grandchildren, Eyan, Eva, Sai, Vin, Caroline, Rosie and Nora; and his siblings, Grace, Bill Colson (Linda), Ken Colson (Elaine) and Linda Barnwell (James). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
