He was predeceased by: his parents, James Joshua Couch and Margaret White Couch; his wife Barbara Allen Joyce of Mobile, AL.; his brother James Joshua Couch, Jr.; and his son-in-law Joseph Webb McLeary.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Couch McLeary, West, Gayle Couch McMillan of Talladega, AL, Leslie Couch Gibson of Martin, GA and Karen Couch Tucker; and his brother Jerry Mayo. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the donor's favorite charity.
