He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Riggins and Irene Richards Riggins; and his siblings, Evelyn Kersey, James, Wes and Harold Riggins.

He is survived by: his wife Debra Riggins; his son Rick Riggins; his granddaughter Mahayla Adams (Eli); his great grandchild Malakai Adams; and his brother David Riggins.
