He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rainey and Minnie Rainey; his wife Mary Rainey; and his great grandchild Blakelyn Donaldson. He is survived by: his children, Trish Rainey Hammonds (Donnie), Jeff Rainey (Karen) and Michael Rainey (Susan); his grandchildren, Jennifer Donaldson (Tyson), Matthews Hammonds and Loren Rainey; his great grandchildren, Brody, Bryce and Brett Donaldson; and his sister Pearlene Pendergrass. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Antioch United Methodist Church or Alive Hospice-Murfreesboro.
