He is survived by: his children, Becky MacFarlane (Chris), Chase, Conal, Bryce and Wesley Valdes; his granddaughter Mina; his daughter Wendy Cooley; his grandchildren, Kyle and Tyler; his brother-in-law John Richardson (Amy); and his wife Kathryn Diann Richardson.
