She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Ben Dowdy and Fern Lucille Hodges Swearinger; and her children, Lynn David Hyatt, Donald Dowdy and Teresa Hyatt Richardson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Juanita Ann Storz of Mt. Juliet and Debbie Louise Burns of Bon Aqua; and her brother David Elvis Dowdy (Sue) of Iowa. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
