It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Ruth Silka (Mount Juliet, Tennessee), born in Anchorage, Alaska, who passed away on April 13, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles and Marion; and her husband Blain. She is survived by: her sister Lori Corry (Mark); her children, Kari Spalding (Eric) and Nickolas Silka (Andaleah); her grandchildren, Avery, Leah, Allie, Haylie, Alexa and Tehya; her close friends, Chuck, Robin Moon, Cindy and Bill Frank; and her pets, Bentley and Hemingway.
