She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Guy Heard of Wedowee, AL and Esta Mae Heard of Wedowee, AL; and her sisters, Faye Stephens League and Joyce Henderson. She is survived by: her siblings, Oscar Cephas Heard of Woodland, AL and Brenda Heard Howard (Yates) of Carrollton, GA; her children, Phillip Murphree, Jr., Guyman Murphree and Tammy Neal; and her grandchildren, Phillip Murphree, III, Matthew Murphree, Sarah Murphree Lopez (Erick), Andrew Murphree (Lauren), Kyle Neal and Adam Neal.
