He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson Lakin and Euna Louise Fisher; his wife Patricia McMillan; his siblings, Jack E. Lakin, William A. Lakin (Edie), June Hicks (Glen) and Brenda Wilkerson (Brudgy); and his son-in-law Hazem Kaddoura.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Slipkovich (Dan), Scott Lakin (Allison), Tammy Kaddoura (Clay), Missy MacLennan (Mike) and Bobbi Lakin-Brown (Mike); his sister Irene Nelson; his grandchildren, Zach (Bonnie), Laila Kaddoura (Josh), Bailey Webb (Tristan), Cody, Grace, Jeb MacLennan, Sam, Jake Slipkovich, Jenny and Abby Brown; and his great grandchild Charlie Rooh Kaddoura.
