He was predeceased by: his wife Nannie Stanley Steeley; the mother of his children Mabel Steeley; and his son Stephen Wayne Steeley. He is survived by: his sons, David Michael Steeley (Joyce) of Hopkinsville, KY, James Douglas Steeley (Emma) of Mt. Juliet and Richard Steeley of Nashville, TN; his granddaughter Stephanie Page; and his sisters, Christine Farmer and Irene Renshaw. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
