He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Powell and Roxie Powell. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Lackey; his children, Susan Clark, David Powell (Sharon), Mark Powell (Valerie) and Paul Powell (Joanna Harris); his sister Mary Walker; his half-sister Dean Baker; and his grandchildren, Chad, Jonathan, Kelsey, Brittany, Zachary and Caitlin. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
