He is survived by: his brother-in-law Doug Schier of Delray Beach, FL; his children, Doug Martin (Sue Ann) of Port Royal, TN and Sharon Spurgeon (Tim) of Marietta, GA; his granddaughter Kristi Thompson (Stephen) of Clarksville, TN; his children, James Martin (Megan) of Redding, CA, Matthew Martin of Port Royal, TN, Trevor Spurgeon of Marietta, GA and Leah Corts III (David) of Birmingham, AL; and his great grandchildren, Annalee Thompson, Emmalynn Thompson, Cameron Martin and Landon Thompson. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
