He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Matthew Richards, Sr.; and his siblings, Edgar Matthew, Jr., Naomi Baker and Phil Richards. He is survived by: his wife Janice "Jann" Richards; his children, Steven Richards (Juanita), Stacey Richards Lyles (Kevin) and Melissa Richards Gleaves (Jason); his grandchildren, Aaron White, Ryan Richards, Hailey Reynolds, Heather Richards, Mason Gleaves, Rachel Richards, Ethan Lyles and Brandi Richards; his siblings, Linda Wyatt, Gary Richards, Ray Richards and Sonja Cagle; and also Janice Ann Kirk Richards. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
