She was predeceased by: her husband Harold H. Yates; and her brother James Robert Davis. She is survived by: her caregiver Kathy Kinard (Chris); her siblings, Charles E. "Bubba" Davis, Mary Stanley (Doug) and Walter E. Davis; her grandchildren, Charles Erik Kinard, Karra Kinard and Trish Smith (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Payton Kinard, Will Kinard and Wyatt Smith; her niece Robin Lyn Rice; her nephew Robert Casey Stanley (Cara); her great-niece Terralyn Rice; and her caregivers, Danielle, Gina, Mary Beth, Megan and Cori.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sellars Funeral Home (2229 N Mt Juliet Rd, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sissy's honor to Mt. Juliet's local animal shelters- True Rescue or Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary.
