He was predeceased by: his parents, Manford Peterson and Hazel Peterson; his children, Wayne and Christina Peterson; and his sister Gloria.

He is survived by: his wife Delores Peterson; his siblings, Larry Peterson and Eva Day; his children, Debbie, Rochelle Robin, Steven and Tara; and his grandchildren, Sean, Casey, Andy, Christopher, Johnathan, Brittany, Natalie, Amber, Zacharria and Janelle. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
