It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Craig Colunga of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, who passed away on October 17, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Craig may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Craig touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Daniel Colunga and Stephanie Lois Colunga (Swafford) of College Station, Texas; and his grandparents, Emmett Stephens Swafford, Virgie Lee "Billie" Swafford (Smith) of Bryan, Texas, Joe Colunga, Jr. and Margaret Colunga (Harrison) of Brownsville, Texas..

He is survived by: his wife Julie D. Colunga (Clark) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; his sister Kim Chavarria (Colunga); and his brother-in-law Louis "Mike" Chavarria of College Station. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations of any amount may be made to the Swafford Chapel Church in care of Mr. Duane Hodges, 644 Joe Brock St., Spencer, Tennessee 38585.
