He is survived by: his parents, Cornelis Johannes Booysen and Wilma Booysen; the mother of his children Martha Smit; his children, Michael Cornelis and Maroné Marieta; his significant other Charity Ingersoll; his significant other's children, Addison Marie, Anneliese Elizabeth and Lucas Michael; his close friend Charity Ingersoll; his sister Natalie van der Linde; his nieces and nephews, Marco, Leandri and Nicolene; his stepmother Christa Booysen Giles; and also, Martha Booysen, Waldo, Nicolene and Natasha. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
