Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George William "Buck" Mann, Jr. and Frances Ellen Gilchrist Mann; and her son Charles William Moore. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Anne Moore Clem of Hermitage, Tennessee; her brothers, James Douglas Mann (Dabney) of Franklin and George William Mann III (Joan) of Polk City, Florida; her stepmother Peggy Mann of Winter Haven, Florida; and her sisters-in-law, Julie Moore of Gainesville, Florida and Bonnie Moore of Liberty, Missouri. She is also survived by 3 nephews; 4 nieces; and many other relatives.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laughlin Service Funeral Home (2320 Bob Wallace Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The Journey Church, 1240 Leeville Pike, Lebanon, Tennessee 37090.
