She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Gentry; her son James Richard Gentry; her parents, Walter Long and Rita Long; and her siblings, Rusty Long and Jesse Long.

She is survived by: her son Paul Gentry (Janet); her grandchildren, Jay Gentry (Danna), Al Gentry (Kalyn), Tim Gentry (Wendie), April Gentry and John Gentry (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Case Gentry, Kendall Gentry, Ellie Gentry, James Gentry, Kayli Gentry and Brylee Gentry; her brother Bill Long (Betty); and her cousin Frances Owens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Missions Work at Corinth Church of Christ.
