He was predeceased by: his parents, L. B. Winkler and Viola Winkler (Jones); his wife Hilda Marie Winkler (Holt); his brothers, Ted Winkler and Tim Winkler; and his son-in-law Owen Egeberg.
He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Slocum (Tim) of Mt. Juliet and Annette Egeberg of Scottsburg, Indiana; and his siblings, Dennis Winkler of Germany and Patricia Craft of Alabama.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vanderwall Funeral Home (164 Maple St, Dayton, TN 37321). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ogden Road Baptist Church. A burial was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at the Ogden Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
