She was predeceased by: her son James Michael Simpson; her parents, Leslie Eugene and Eula Holt Orrick; and her siblings, James Orrick, Leslie Orrick and Sharon Boling.
She is survived by: her husband Clifford "Cliff" Simpson; her daughter Karen Cooper (Martin); her grandchildren, Zachary Cooper, Isaac Cooper, Cole Cooper and Claire Simpson; and her brother Bill Orrick (Billie).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
