He was predeceased by: his wife Hope C. Moore; his parents, John Moore and Monnie Moore; and his sisters, Jane Moore Crum, Jean Moore, Helen Moore, Mable Preston and Anna Lee Woodruff.

He is survived by: his daughter Marsha Fandl (Chico); his granddaughters, Crystal Lorenz (Dave) and Jenny Billings (Jeremy); his brother Richard "Dick" Moore of Kingsport; his niece Patty Mears (Doug); his nephew Steve Crum; his grandsons, Lance Johnson, Luke Hutson and Ayden Billings; his sister-in-law Joyce Cradic; his nieces, Janet Cradic of Richmond, VA., Mary Cradic of Richmond, VA., Judy Wood of Richmond, VA., Karen Rutledge of Richmond, VA., Linda Noe of Richmond, VA., Leanne Larkin of Richmond, VA., Donna Salley of Richmond, VA., Michelle Mears of Richmond, VA., Barrett Mears of Richmond, VA., Kurt Crum of Richmond, VA. and Brandon Salley of Chuckey, TN.; and his cousins, Bud Greene and Carmel.
