With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Sims (Mount Carmel, Tennessee), who passed away on October 8, 2018 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Buddy Sims and Virginia Barker. He is survived by: his wife Lee Ann Tipton Sims; his children, Tim Sims (Sheri), Sabrina Brewer (Keith), Stephanie Miller (Travis) and Tim McCraw (Samantha); his siblings, Jean Osborne (Bill), Marie Winkle, Pauline Mullins (Johnny), Janie Rogers (J. W.), Kay Jackson (Nathan), Stanley Sims (Margaret), Billy Joe Sims and Darrell "Dobber" Sims (Dora); and his close friends, Jim Haun and Barbara Haun.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
