He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hurd and Joan Hurd. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rhea Hurd; his children, Alisha Saxton (Israel) and Stacey Lawson (Nathan); his grandchildren, Annabelle, Madelyn, Ava and Ben; and his siblings, Johnny Hurd (Rhonda), Joan Leonard, Jeannie Moody (Robert), Judy Hobbs (Gale), Janice Hurd, Jill Hurd and Joe Hurd (Laura).
