Though Hazel Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Hazel Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Draughn; her children, Howard Draughn and Carolyn Draughn; her parents, Mary Clifton and Worley Clifton; and her sister Jean Cox.
She is survived by: her daughter Doris Milburn (Richard); and her brothers, Earl Clifton and James Clifton. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes - Kingsport (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the Holston View Cemetery (226-292 Yuma Rd, Weber City, VA 24290).
