He was predeceased by: his parents, Arc Cimdee Necessary and Looney Phillips Necessary; his siblings, Willard Necessary, Harvey (Hazel Johnson Necessary), Gladys Necessary Bishop (Jack) and Thelma Necessary Winegar (Herbert); and his nephew Michael "Mickey" Winegar.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Simpson Necessary; his nieces, Brenda Sue Carter Skinner and Rita Stroupe; his great-nephews, Daniel Bishop, James, Jeffery and Michael Carter; and his cousin Shelby Nottingham. He is also survived by friends and extended family.
