He is survived by: his children, Teresa Gilliam (Tim), Judy Johnson (David), Jill Larkey (Gene), Leah Simpson (Jeff), Jeff Necessary (Kim) and Paul Necessary; his siblings, Anna Light and Daniel Necessary; his nephew Johnny Necessary; and his niece Melissa Castell. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren;16 great-grandchildren.
