We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2024, at the age of 86, Billy Joe Whitmore of Mount Carmel, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Whitmore; his parents, James Whitmore and Roberta Whitmore; and his grandson Kade Jennings. He is survived by: his children, Brent Whitmore (Aimee) and Jalana Jennings (Todd); his grandchildren, Kinsley (Wihan) and Piper; his stepgrandchildren, Jordyn (Brandon), Logan, Madison (Zeke) and Bryson; and his sisters-in-law, Patsy Byerley (Jerry) and Noonie Bennett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 311 Cypress St., Mt. Carmel, TN 37645.
