He is survived by: his wife Brenda Strong Cherry; his sons, Lance (LeeAnn Cherry) of Moss and Matthew Cherry (DeAndre Smith) of Murfreesboro; his great grandchild Timber Mae Adams of Moss; and his sister Judy (Jimmy Irwin) of Bon Aqua.
