He is survived by: his children, Billy Gene Smith (Shirley), Mitchell Dewayne Smith, Linda Lou Smith Crowe (Larry), Loretta Sue Smith, Freeda Lorene Smith Garrett (Leon Hampton) and Charolette Ann Smith (Charles); his grandchildren, Reynaldo Mendez Smith, Hunter Montgomery and Zoe Madison; his stepgranddaughter Maeley Marie Hampton; and his siblings, Dovie Netherton, Josephine Smith and Bazz Ray Smith (Brenda). He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
