He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Cordell and Winnie Cherry (Plumlee); and his sisters, Lena Geralds, Runell Kemp and Carol Sue Cherry.
He is survived by: his spouse Donnita Cherry (Brown); his children, Hugh Brian Cherry (Beverly) and Deanna Cherry (William); his granddaughters, Brooklyn Collins (Cody) and Bridget Cherry; his great grandchild Kyler Collins; and his siblings, Travis Cherry (Shirley), Geneal Rich and Inez Copass.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
