The memory of Ezra Short of Moss, Tennessee, who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Estil Short and Mildred Short (Mabry); his former wife Reba Crowder Short; his stepson Travis Davis; and also, Willas Short, Jack Short and Inez Short.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Short; his children, Michael Short (Lisa), Randy Short and Rhonda Short; his stepchildren, Tracy Davis, Trinette Wix (Jimi) and Tabitha Davis; his grandchildren, Wendy, Shaun, VanEric, Kyle, Kayla and Erica; his stepgrandchildren, Maddy, Amber, Bret, Brent, Brittany, Kesha and Kara; and his siblings, Leeman Short, Joyce Edwards, Virginia Brown, Hazel Bray and Loudean West. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home (307 W Lake Ave, Celina, TN 38551). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at the Pitcock Cemetery (11960 Clay County Hwy, Moss, TN 38575).
