He is survived by: his children, David Smith (Jennifer) and Tonya Smith-Anderson; his grandchildren, Kelsey Melton (Logan), Lei-Ane Smith and Cole Smith; his great grandchildren, Lathan, Kelsen and Halle Jo Melton; and his siblings, Virginia Smith-Barrett, Eva Nell Moore, Nora White (Jimmy), Diane Taylor (Steve), Cornelius Smith (Wanda) and Kent Smith (Susie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
