He is survived by: his mother Martha Faye Wheeler of Moss, Tennessee; his children, Bryson Chaney Mayes (Kiley) of Edmonton and Briley Mayes of Glasgow; his grandson Koulter Troutt; his siblings, Angela Mayes of Tompkinsville, Amanda Hale (Jason) of Moss, Ashley Mayes of Moss and Jason Mayes (Angel) of Fort Worth; his uncle Chuck; and his aunt Gail Pelley of Clayton.
