She was predeceased by: her son Randy Mahon; her parents, Willie Dotson and Vernie Dotson; and her sister Margaret Dotson. She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Akers; her son-in-law John Carr of Mosheim; her son James; her daughter-in-law Marissa Mahon of Clinton, TN; and her siblings, Cora Bentley, Loretta Varney, Shelvie Dotson, Phyllis Anderson, Kathy Coleman and Willie Lee Dotson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
