He is survived by: his daughter Dana Schafner (Ben); his grandchildren, Morgan, Cory and Bryan; and his sister Sandra Jefferson (Rick).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the Carman Funeral Home (2301 Argillite Rd, Flatwoods, KY 41139). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Palmer Cemetery.
