He was predeceased by: his parents, George Secrist and Elizabeth Bowser Secrist; and his brothers, Lee Secrist and Denny Secrist. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Secrist; his sons, James H. Secrist Jr. (Dawn) of Meredian and Kevin Mark Secrist (Shari) of Greeneville; his sisters, Patsy Cunningham of Burleson and Diane Secrist of Chicago, Illinois; his sisters-in-law, Inez Davenport (Gene) of Pikeville, TN and Geraldine Jeffers of Greeneville; and his close friends, John, Barbara Foster of Arlington, Doyle and Mary Thompson of Montage, Texas.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great granddaughter.
