With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Edward Westmoreland of Mosheim, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Westmoreland and Mary Westmoreland; and his sister Peggy Westmoreland. He is survived by: his son Jamie; his daughter-in-law Tammy Westmoreland; his grandson Spencer Westmoreland; the mother of his child Lois Nelson; his sisters, Elizabeth (Dale Patterson) and Patricia (Mike Savage); and his uncle Doyle Westmoreland (family: Mandy, Marshall, Nathan Tolley). He is also survived by 2 sons, and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service (208 N College St, Greeneville, TN 37745). A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Philippi Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (TN-70, Tennessee 37711).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
