She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Isaac Morrison and Nola Meg Reaves; her husband Tom Carter; her son-in-law Mike Hurst; and her siblings, Otis Morrison, Cecil Morrison, Clyde Morrison, Mary Crane and Norma Travis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Hurst of Midway and Joyce Hawkins (Mike) of Mosheim; her granddaughters, Amanda Hughes (Matt) of Afton, Courtney Hayes (Dustin) of Chuckey and Brittney McGuire (Will) of Baileyton; her great grandchildren, Mattison Hughes of Afton, Mattilyn Hughes of Afton, Natile Gregg of Baileyton and Mikenlee McGuire of Baileyton; her siblings, Patsy Morrison of Mosheim and Dwayne Morrison of Afton; and her siblings-in-law, Ken Carter (Reta) of Bybee, Idell Burnett of Mosheim and Shirley Golden (Loyd). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
