He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Shelton and May June Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Shelton; his daughter Barbara; his son-in-law Elmer Barnes; his son Wayne; his daughter-in-law Jessica Shelton; his grandchildren, Ashley Barnes, Cassie McCurry, Shaelynn Jones, Josh Shelton and Chase Shelton; his great grandchild Brooklyn McCurry; his siblings-in-law, Mary Metcalf and Cecil Lynn Bowens; and his siblings, Ruby Shelton, Audrey Bowman, Ray Shelton, Albert Shelton, Esau Shelton, Pat Shelton and Elwood Shelton.
