Sylvia Blackwell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Blackwell of Moscow, Tennessee, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dink Brooks and Mattie Lorena Hollida Brooks; her husband Garmen Curtis Blackwell; her children, Katherine Sue Blackwell and Thomas Russell "Rusty" Blackwell; and her siblings, Florence Houck, Doris Brooks Cole, Mabel Hurdle, Evan Robbins, Charles Rodney Brooks, David Brooks and Richard Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ann Lindsey of Collinsville, IL, Shirley Jewell (William H.) of Moscow, TN, John Rodger Lindsey of Odin, IL and George Curtis Blackwell (Susan Garcia); and also George Curtis Blackwell. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
