He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Jones; his parents, Lois Jones and Inez Jones; and his siblings, William Earl, Dennis Carl, James, Jr., Jimmy, Herman, Dorothy Jean, Shirley Ann, Cynthia Carol and Margaret Kathryn.
He is survived by: his son Donald Jones; his stepson Anthony Perkey; his grandsons, Matthew Jones and Dalton Jones; his siblings, Bertha Lou Moore (H. L.) of Batesville, MS, Beverly Jo Moore of Batesville, MS, Mary Frances Bizzell (Robert) of Middleton, TN and Howard Jones (Gladys) of Walnut, MS; and his close friend Vicki Ferguson.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel (18020 US-64, Somerville, TN 38068). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
