She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harvey Stapleton and Daisy Mae Morrison; and her sibling Marion Stapleton Pickle (Peter M. Schramm). She is survived by: her former spouse Mohamed F. Abouelata; her son Harvey M. Abouelata; her daughter-in-law Kristin B. Abouelata; and her granddaughters, Sophia B. Abouelata and Natalie S. Abouelata.
In memory of Wilma, instead of sending flowers, she would have wanted us to spread joy by giving flowers to someone we love with her parting words, "Enjoy!".
