He was predeceased by: his wife Loree Trobaugh; his father Elmer (Irene Trobaugh); his brothers, John Dee and Robert Dale Trobaugh; and his half-brothers, Edgar, Vernon, Kenneth, Francis Trobaugh and Lloyd Crocker.
He is survived by: his sons, Tyler "Buzz" Trobaugh and Thomas Trobaugh; his brothers, Johnny Grooms and James Trobaugh; and his half-siblings, Arelene Creech, Carl Crocker and Bill Crocker.
